Andrea Datzman
Since Andrea was 8 years old and an ancient sage green player piano came into her home in Northern California, she has been writing music. After training as a vocalist, playing piano and various woodwinds, she began her studies in composition at UC Santa Barbara. After earning a Bachelors Degree in Composition she spent a year studying with Composer Andrew Imbrie and living in San Francisco. Andrea moved to Los Angeles and completed USC’s graduate program in “Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television.”
As a composer, Andrea has written music for various films and documentaries, including “Freedom Fries” and the award-winning short documentary “If a Body Meet a Body.”
Andrea has also worked as Scoring Coordinator, Orchestrator and Arranger for Movies, TV Shows and video games such as “LOST”, “UP”, “Star Trek”, “Ratatouille”, “Mission Impossible III”, “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” and the 81st Academy Awards
